Brilliant ruby red color. Red and black fruit on the pleasantly ripe nose. Also in the taste we find hints of cherries, strawberries, plums and cassis. Wonderfully full but nicely dosed taste. In the second instance, more spicy notes also emerge. Pepper, a touch of cedar and hints of chocolate. Remarkably soft and fine tannins accompany the balanced finish.

Its friendly yet full of character make it a safe and versatile companion, both for drinking and in the kitchen. It pairs various meat dishes as well as pastas, pizzas, vegetarian dishes and cheeses sparkle without imposing himself.

climate

Located quite southerly between ideal latitudes, Maule Valley is slightly cooler than other major wine regions in Chile. It enjoys slightly more precipitation that falls mainly in winter and many hours of sunshine. It is warm during the day and the temperature drops sharply at night, making it probably the most privileged wine valley in Chile. The general characteristics are comparable to a Mediterranean climate.

soil

The vineyards are located in Maule Valley near Curicó. The Maule River supplies the valley with alluvial sedimentary rocks. The soils are quite varied and consist of granite, red clay, loam and gravel. The soils on the slopes are poorer and with good water management. In the valley itself on the river, the subsoil is richer with higher yields.

vinification

Grapes are picked in the cool of the morning. After careful pressing, the fermentation is started under controlled temperature in stainless steel vats with maceration on the pellets. Then the wine is transferred to wooden barrels (of 2nd and 3rd wine). It is then bottled after about 10 months.
